For many years I was involved in multi-national corporate life in the electronics industry. During that time I invented the Gorilla Steering Lock and had the opportunity of marketing the product in many countries across the world. I retired from work at the age of 40.
The thought of being retired forever was frightening as there was little mental stimulation. I bought and sold a number of smaller businesses. In2003 I joined the real estate profession.
My first year in the real-estate business was a learning period and my achievement was good. The second year I formed a sales team of 10 people who worked for me in the franchise. I have never looked back.
This was the beginning of great things. In 2007 I was one of the top 50 agents internationally at Re/max. I became the manager of the franchise and stayed there until there was a change of ownership.
I have lived in the Upper Highway area since 1981. I have an excellent knowledge of the area and have served on committees dedicated to the preserving and beautification of our area. I own a large property near the Springside Nature Reserve in Hillcrest.
