I am an advocate (non-practising). Except for a short interruption of a year I was a legal adviser in the life-insurance industry for 34 years and retired from Sanlam at the end of 2016. Retirement not being one of my ideals in life, I became an estate agent in January 2017. My experience includes being a trustee of 9 retirement funds and a medical scheme. I was chairman of 4 of these retirement funds for a number of years. I was also an external examiner for the post graduate diploma in financial planning offered by the University of the Free State. I am a past contributor to reference books on retirement funds and financial markets. I live in Welgemoed, Cape Town but do not restrict my real estate marketing efforts to a specific area.
