“I approach the role of navigating everyone through a property transaction, by doing the job in a way in which I would want it done for myself”.

Growing up in the Eastern Cape, in a large close-knit family, I was privileged to experience a naïve childhood, surrounded by generations of wisdom and sound family values.

Moving to Cape Town in 1984 and living predominantly in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town was an adjustment where I soon found “new family”, being a wonderful crowd of friends and their parents.

My marriage required us to move many times, starting with an adjustment to Mining life in the Mpumalanga area to small-scale farming on the West Coast. Having two young children during these times came with challenges until we eventually “came home” to the Southern Suburbs and a more settled life.

Maintaining a fun and close relationship with my 25-year-old daughter and 22-year-old son comes naturally to me. We believe that our home has soul, with responsibility and accountability being balanced by our ridiculous sense of humour!

Being drawn to the property industry 7 years ago has brought great fulfilment to my life. “Home” is so important to us all and having the opportunity and the privilege to spend time in people’s homes, doing what I love, comes with great rewards.

Selling or buying a home is both stressful and exciting. Transition affects different people in different ways and throughout the process, the agent is required to discern and act upon the changing needs of everyone involved.

The stimulating aspects of each property transaction includes respecting the confidentiality of people’s circumstances, commitment to the professional marketing process, continuous feedback with open communication, as well as walking the transaction through to transfer and beyond. The variety of this juggling act requires organisation and focused dedication.

The best way of navigating everyone through the process is to do the job in a way in which I would want it done for myself.
