Deirdre, originally a qualified teacher, comes from a business background having been a partner in one of the largest security companies in South Africa.
This was bought out by an international group.
She then got involved in the logistics and procurement industry and ran with a few top accounts, one being the gaming magnets Electronic Arts.
Having travelled extensively and admiring properties and experiencing the local food and drink, her passion extended to owning her own coffee shop, Skinny Legs Luxury Café in Cape Town.
She ran this successfully for 5 years and sold it just before COVID 19.
She decided to explore her passion for property and turn that hobby into a career.
Deirdre joined Live Real Estate during the initial lockdown in 2020.
