I completed my matric year in 1988. At that stage military service was compulsory. Not having funds to study further, I decided to complete my military service first. I completed the “JL” Course in ’89 and cleared out in 1990. I did numerous camps and attained the rank of Captain before Military service was changed to voluntary.
I decided to work for a big corporate company that will pay for my studies. In 1990 I started my career in Banking at United Bank. I stayed with the Bank for 5 wonderful years. I started at the bottom and attained the position of Portfolio Manager. In this time, I completed my IOB and B.com Marketing Degree. I loved the 5 years spend in Banking!
I moved out of the Banking industry solely for financial reasons. Even though I loved my job, the pay was not what I wanted. I realized the money was in the private sector.
In 1996 I started working at a Transport company as the General Manager. I realized that one should own your own company if you want to live an above average lifestyle. In 1998 I managed to buy 50% of this company and became a partner.
Transport was a wonderful experience that thought me what hard work was. Working 15 Hours a day was the norm for me.
I then decided to get out of Transport and start a new venture. I sold my share in the transport company and started my career in real Estate.
In 2004 I open my own real Estate Company. In 2006 I was appointed marketing director of MLS that was a listing company used by Real Estate Firms. I was also one of the finding Directors of National Realtors Group.
In 2015 I was approached by SEEFF Properties. At this stage I wanted to manage and build my footprint in a specific area.
I took this time to improve my knowledge on the ins and outs of Managing a successful National Brand and The importance of systems and IT solutions.
In November 2021 I opened LIFESTYLE PROPERTY GROUP. I perform best when I make all decisions. I wanted a challenge and build a Brand with a National footprint that will benefit owner principles.
After all it’s a Lifestyle …
