A Journey of Self-Discovery and Passion - Early Life and Education
I was born on February 16, 1982, in Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa. My childhood was spent in the vibrant city of Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal, before relocating to Pretoria, Gauteng, in 1995. I matriculated in 2000 and went on to complete a diploma in Fine Arts at the Tshwane University of Technology in 2004.
A Path of Exploration
Before discovering my true calling, I explored various careers, including freelance work as a photographer, waitress, bar lady, and sign writer. I also held more permanent positions as a sales executive, store manager, and general manager in retail jewelry stores. Additionally, I worked as a warranty clerk for Nissan South Africa and a CRM manager for a car dealership in Pretoria.
Finding My Passion
In 2020, I took a leap of faith and began my journey as an intern realtor, just after the COVID-19 hard lockdown. With no prior knowledge of the property environment, I was thrown into the deep end. Despite initial doubts, I flourished, becoming the top agent at my agency within a year.
*Achievements and Accomplishments*
My most notable achievement to date is facilitating over R23 million in home loans within 12 months, excluding cash deals. At the age of 39, I discovered my passion for placing people in their dream homes, navigating the complexities of the property industry, and building lasting relationships with clients.
Reflections and Future
As I reflect on my journey, I realize that my passion for photography, marketing, and people has been the driving force behind my success. I've learned to overcome challenges, adapt to new situations, and continuously improve. I am proud to say that I have found my true calling, and I would not trade my career as a realtor for anything. 🏡
