Johan van Zyl is a professional property and real estate (PPRE) expert who originally started his real estate career with Pam Golding Properties in 2012. He took a leave of absence and returned full time to the corporate world in 2016. As a senior manager his expertise centred on logistics, labour relations and fleet management. In May 2021 he waved goodbye to the logistics industry and founded the Real Estate Hub.
As Principal Property Practitioner, Johan is the accountable person in respect of compliance with the Protection of Personal Information (POPI) and Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) Acts.
Johan still does sales and rentals as a Professional Property Practitioner and renders support and training to agents. He holds a B.A. Honours degree in Development Studies. Johan worked as a Intelligence Operative after completing his studies at the University of Johannesburg in 1983.
Johan is a divorced father two sons of which the youngest is an expert Professional Property Practitioner with vast experience in the industry. His oldest son is a Strength Coach in the Netherlands. Johan is also the proud grandfather of a teenage boy.
Johan was born and raised in Johannesburg and is a passionate rugby and cricket supporter.
