Each owner has transfer of his stand registered in his/her name (PTY or Trust) in the South African Deeds Office. The common property belongs to the Home Owners Association of which every owner is compulsory to be a member of. The stands vary in size from 2500 m2 to 4000 m2. The stands are spread in pockets over the entire estate to create privacy and low density. To protect the fynbos owners, have to use only a footprint for their house on site and try to keep the garden as indigenous as possible. There is an approved plant list for those who wants to add to their gardens.
There is no time limit for owners to build. An Estate manager is looking after the upkeep of the estate which includes mowing and cutting of the grass along the roads, making firebreaks and eradication of alien plants and trees and keeping the fences in top condition.
