The stand is located lower down the hill and has a large knobthorn tree as a feature tree. This is a very well-priced stand. It is serviced with power and water. No time scale to build. Thatch, Harvey tile and Chromodeck is allowed as roof types.
Canyon Game Reserve is a 424ha Wildlife Estate situated on the slopes of the Drakensberg mountains. The reserve is very scenic and there are a variety of game drive roads, as well as a 4 x4 track up the mountain.
The reserve is one of the least densely populated estates in the Hoedspruit area, with only 44 sites. There is privacy from neighbors with a large open area for game to roam. The estate is secure with electric fencing and guards, with limited access to residents. Water is supplied from the Blyde pipeline and electricity from Eskom, cables have been laid below the ground for improved aesthetics.
The estate contains giraffe, waterbuck, impala, wildebeest, zebra, mountain reedbuck, klipspringer, duiker, grysbuck, warthog, bushpig. Predators such as Jackal and Leopard also occur. No pets are allowed on the Reserve. There are no commercial lodge rights.
