The Villa
Exquisitely designed both in terms of the magnificent landscaped gardens and the bespoke interior only the finest original furnishings, decor and art from magnificent tropical destinations throughout the world have been used to create this unique tropical paradise and retreat. This property must be seen in person to appreciate the detail, love and dedication that has gone into creating a piece of heaven. From the magnificent hand-carved Javanese doors that add distinction to both kitchens to the array of spectacular paintings and unique pieces from Polynesia, Thailand and beyond each view within the home and garden inspires and calms.
This beautiful tropical guest villa is sold as a going concern or you may indulgently use it as your own private retreat for you, your family and friends.
On arrival, one enters a parking area that can accommodate up to 8 cars. The parking area is surrounded by magnificent statuesque Cuban Royal Palms and beautiful tinkling fountains and moss-covered statuary evoking the quintessence and beauty of the tropics.
The villa is entered through a private staired Mexican styled courtyard with a cooling frangipani carved wall fountain, from where one enters the home through a massive chartreuse hand-carved Indian door from Rajasthan. The Business
The property is sold as a successful going concern and financial documentation can be provided once a match is established between all parties involved. Nakai opened for business in October 2017 and has grown from strength to strength. Since inception, only 4 rooms were placed in the rental as the owners each occupied a room and a family member the bedroom with its own kitchen. Fortunately, the business survived the devastation caused by the pandemic outfall due to the loss of income insurance.
Nakai receives guests from the world over and has several returning guests from Austria, Germany and Switzerland that return each year. The reviews of guests on social media speak for themselves. We have an excellent Instagram account: Nakai Beach Homestay which is a very effective marketing tool. We use the Nightsbridge platform to manage our rooms and bookings and the various booking portals and agencies make use of this avenue to organize bookings.
The large reception room accommodates our bespoke gift shop which provides unique local and international selections including beautiful jewelry from local and international suppliers. This provides a welcome added income stream.
Another income stream is the world-class marble floored yoga studio which doubles as a spa providing healing and nurturing treatments that are very popular with guests.
At outset, the Nakai philosophy focussed on creating an affordable world-class eco and holistic retreat with primarily organic and sustainably sourced foods and products. We receive organic food deliveries from 3 organic farmers weekly.
The staff at Nakai form an absolute cornerstone of the Nakai experience by providing friendly, professional service and are trained to prepare the tropically inspired breakfast for conventional, vegan, and vegetarian guests. The staff works on a rotational calendar with shifts increasing in peak periods.
