SOILS - the soil can be described as 'Acidic lithosol soils derived from Ordovician sandstone of the Table Mountain Group (Cape Supergroup), plinthic catenas prominent. The farm is used almost in its entirety for the cultivation of dryland pastures and offers deeper soil suitable for cultivation.

NATURAL GRAZING - mainly Fynbos but the farm is planted with a pasture mix for small and large stock grazing.

FENCING AND CAMPS - the farm is fenced with stock proof fencing and provides +- 17grazing camps.

WATER SOURCES / WATER RIGHTS - the farm does have its own borehole, however, is not being used at present as the farm receives water from the nearby farm portion that also belongs to the same owner. The farm has the right to subtract water from the Impofu Dam for livestock and domestic use but has not yet had to do so.
