2,4 m boundary fenced around whole perimeter of the farm (about 25 km boundary fence) , with valid certificate of adequate enclosure (CAE), AIS permit for lechwe and fallow deer and a WR number for cape buffalo. There are no buffalo on the farm
Irrigation and lands:
4 Pumps in 4 boreholes, total 75 m3 / hour, 1 pump on Eskom, 3 pumps on solar - Application from DWS is pending for use of these boreholes and for more water rights for irrigation, but the risk is on the buyer re this application.
2 River suction pumps: total 30 m3 / hour, 1 pump on Eskom, 1 on solar.
4 House dam pumps: total 65 m3 / hour - house dam is fed from the weir on the Great Fish River via furrows and pipes, via gravity.
Weir on Great Fish River, with furrows which fill dams: 2 small night dams near main house and 1 large dam which can flood irrigate 7 ha each time the dam is full.
Lucerne and grass pastures (9 ha is good lucerne, 43 ha is planted as mixed pasture with 70 % lucerne and 30 % grass)
